NETELLER Adds Bitcoin Deposit Option in Surprise Policy Reversal

Payments processor and prepaid card provider NETELLER has added a bitcoin deposit feature.

A representative for NETELLER confirmed the deposit feature, telling CoinDesk it may be officially launched as early as tomorrow.

The move is an apparent reversal of policy for NETELLER, which previously revised its terms of use policy to explicitly prohibit the “trade, exchange, purchase or sale of bitcoins, or any other virtual currency”.

As AIG Executive Liability’s Chief Underwriting Officer, Mr. Sagalow was charged with all underwriting interpretations and decisions for AIG D&O/E&O policies. In 2009, Mr. Sagalow headed up the team that rewrote all D&O policies for Zurich North America.

Ty is a cum laude graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and holds a LLM from New York University School of Law.
